2. Selection of desuperheater and pressure reducer
2.1 All precautions for desuperheaters apply to desuperheaters;
2.2 Pay attention to the installation method: It is best to install the integrated desuperheater and pressure reducer vertically, with the steam side in and out, so that condensed water will not accumulate in the downstream and prevent the water hammer phenomenon when the desuperheater and pressure reducer is put into use. However, most of the desuperheater and pressure reducers are now arranged more horizontally, that is, the steam side enters and measures out.
Due to the large volume and mass of the desuperheater and pressure reducer, the support of the desuperheater and pressure reducer should be considered at this time; at the same time, in order to prevent the phenomenon of water hammer, the setting of the warm pipe should also be considered. The heating pipe is generally considered to be set separately, not on the desuperheater body. Set on the body, on the one hand, it increases the leakage point, and on the other hand, the steam from the warm pipe may cause damage to the valve trim.
2.3 Pay attention to the material problem: In addition to the material requirements of the corresponding desuperheater, the desuperheater and pressure reducer should also pay attention to whether the materials of the inlet and the outlet are the same.
2.4 Pay attention to the type problem: if the adjustment range is required to be wider, the steam-assisted atomization type of integral forging should be preferred; if the cost-effectiveness is required, the mechanical atomization type of the forged welded structure nozzle should be considered.
2.5 Other precautions: Due to the large pressure difference, the desuperheating water valve should also pay attention to the occurrence of flash erosion. Under each working condition, the percentage of calculated CV value cannot be too small.
