On December 30, 2020, the integrated low-temperature adjustable nozzle independently developed by Hangzhou Meiya Power Generation Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hangzhou Meiya") was successfully delivered. The product design is mainly used for desuperheating conditions in the gas industry such as ethylene and propylene. The delivered 15 sets of low temperature adjustable nozzle desuperheaters are used in the 600,000 tons/year ethylene plant in Tarim Oilfield. After more than one year of operation, the equipment is stable reliable.
The 600,000-ton/year ethane-to-ethylene project in Tarim Oilfield of Dushanzi Petrochemical Company was successfully put into operation on August 30, 2021. The ethylene unit uses pure ethane as raw material and adopts the ethane steam cracking process technology independently developed by PetroChina. The dual demonstration role of high value-added comprehensive utilization of natural gas resources and reduction of dependence on foreign ethylene technology.
For a long time, the desuperheating nozzles used in the previous projects of the 600,000 t/a ethylene plant in Tarim Oilfield were imported products. After the research and testing of the technical department of Meiya, a series of optimization designs have been carried out on the material selection and internal structure design of the desuperheating nozzle for the harsh working conditions such as large flow rate, high pressure difference, easy vaporization and low temperature in this project. The successful operation of the type low temperature adjustable nozzle has been affirmed by users and design units. Hangzhou Meiya, as an excellent private enterprise that has experienced 25 years of ups and downs, is also more confident to continue to carry forward the spirit of struggle and exploration of Meiya people and write new milestones in the process of advancing with the country.
