The temperature and pressure reduction device is mainly composed of the following parts

1. Pressure reducing system: pressure reducing valve, pressure reducing orifice plate

2. Temperature reduction system: stop valve, throttle valve, feed water regulating valve, check valve, nozzle, venturi desuperheater, pipeline booster pump, etc.

3. Safety system: safety valve

4. On-site primary meter: pressure transmitter, thermal resistance, thermometer, pressure gauge, etc.

5. Control system: PLC, PID, DCS control system


Installation

1. A gate valve should be installed at the inlet and outlet of the device for opening and closing.

2. A fixed bracket shall be provided at the lower part of the safety valve, and a sliding bracket shall be provided at the appropriate positions at both ends of the device. A steam trap shall be installed at the lowest point in the appropriate position of the steam outlet. Gate valves, brackets, compensation measures, steam traps, etc. are configured by the user according to the site conditions.

3. Pay attention to the flow direction of steam and desuperheating water when installing each valve.

4. After the installation is completed, the entire pipeline must be purged, and then a water pressure test shall be carried out. The test pressure is 1.5 times of the working pressure. During the hydraulic test, the safety valve must be removed and sealed with a blank plate, and the pressure holding time shall not be less than five minutes.
